MenuStat is a free nutritional database of thousands of foods served by the nation’s largest chain restaurants. It aggregates nutrition information posted on restaurant websites since 2012. By sharing restaurant nutrition information in a way that is easy to search and analyze, MenuStat provides a valuable resource for researchers and others interested in the nutritional content of restaurant foods and beverages. MenuStat was built by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, with funding in part from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is now run by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute with funding from the National Institutes of Health.
